“The Atlas of the A-B Wilderness” Book Release!

David Kallenbach

The ABWF’s 3-year long quest to bring you a coffee-table style book exclusively about the unique attributes of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness is in production and should be ready by late September or October. Entitled, Voices from Yellowstone’s Capstone–A Narrative Atlas of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, the “Atlas” as we call it, has eclipsed all of our wildest expectations in terms of the quality of the essays, its gorgeous aesthetic, and it’s unique narrative of the A-B Wilderness.

We are printing 2000 copies of this 330 page volume full of essays by well known writers and experts on the Wilderness, with maps identifying the focus and location of the subjects of the essays, and lovely photography and artwork by local artists of the wild.

They should make excellent and timely gifts for the Holiday season for the wilderness enthusiasts in your life.

The ABWF will be doing signings, release parties, and appreciation events this fall with the Atlas as our focus. Stay tuned for our upcoming events in which we will have copies of the Atlas for sale!
